Storytellers

As we close the book on 2025, I am awestruck over how many of you I’ve gotten to meet and speak with at these gigs. Small venues, large venues, day time events and late night doubleheaders. Each of you were so cool to me and your stories will be a part of me forever.

I was invited to hang out at Providence Farms Cidery in the brisk December air in 2025. The owner stoked a raging bon fire and covered everyone up in warmth. Drinks were poured and the families circled.
The goal was a closer one-on-one show. So frequently, the music is the background noise to your conversation. John was clear, he wanted interaction. Everyone got a warm cup of hot cider and before the 3rd song I got a prompt for storytime.

So much of this show was talking and laughing, I don’t think I got 10 songs out. This is about connection after all. From total strangers to making plans to hang out this summer in just 10 minutes. The gift is real and it’s not about singing. Thank you all for the opportunity to connect and keep that fire going until it’s warm again : )
